EverQuest

I have been playing this game almost since it's inception, when it was not SOE but Verant. Since the buyout Sony has continued to make poor decisions which has reduced the player base to near extinction. It is so bad that Sony has developed "Mercenaries" to substitute for lack of players. This game is slowly dying off and I hung to see if it could ressurect itself, but again Sony is not really interested in the player base of EQ after all it's popularity was a Verant success. I think Sony wishes that EQ would just die off so that their baby EQ2 could take its place. Technical Support for this game has come to getting answers like "EQ is so old it is difficult to support with newer operating systems. Don't waste your money here or with SOE search out real games and real support from more contemporary companies
