I didn't start playing WoW till about a year and a half ago. I enjoyed the game a lot. There was always different things to do that would keep you busy for hours. I liked the crafting/cooking system and how you could get patterns/recipes that would give you more items/enchants you could make. I liked that every class has it's own special racial ability that would be a benefit for that race.
I also liked that your character would need to gain faction with different clans/groups. So that when you cap your faction you can purchase some decent reward in some cases.
The RvR/PvP was fun as well. Because of the classes being similar for horde/alliance it made it seem a bit better as far as balancing the classes goes. Although when I started playing I had just started playing after playing Dark Age of Camelot for years. So I thought it was kind of lame that Blizzard couldn't mix it up as far as the classes in their game goes. Seemed to me that Blizzard was fairly lazy as far as that goes. I did like how Blizzard had a arena type system going. One thing I didn't like about it is how easy it was to manipulate it. Because it was set up on a team rating, individuals could drop that team rating on alts and then get matched up with under geared and unskilled teams to raise their personal rating up on their main characters. So they would have some really awesome gear and would completely annihilate the unskilled/under geared individuals.
WoW is a great game if you enjoy raiding and completing dungeons. There are many dungeons that require you to use certain strategies to complete them. This can get frustrating if you have a group member that doesn't know what he or she is doing. But if everyone does what they're suppose to do the raids can go very smoothly.
All in all I enjoyed playing WoW. It's quite a fun game.
