Call of Duty 4 is a pretty amazing tactical shooting game. Not only does it have excellent AI and realism (without so much that it makes it bad), it has all sorts of changed up gameplay. You get to man the guns on aircraft several times throughout the game.
That outlines my favorite part of the game: piloting the guns on the Specter. That was just so unique and cool.
Another realistic aspect of this game is the explosions. Explosions in this game are scaled to a realistic (large, for most games) size and affect enemies in the concussion zone just like a real explosion would.
This game is a lot of fun but I am reluctant to give it a 4 rating because there really isn't much you can do to these games to make them different from their relatives. It's a great war game but I can't see a war game ever being on the very top of my list. They just aren't original enough for my tastes.
