Play the Left 4 Dead 2 Dark Carnival Campaign at PAX Next Week

Headed to the Penny Arcade Expo next week? It'll be my first PAX, and I've been in a steadily increasing state of geek zen over the games I'll get hands-on time with. News broke today that Valve will let us play the recently revealed Dark Carnival campaign, further actualizing and fermenting my deepest zombie massacre schadenfreude.
I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I am excited to play Dark Carnival. You see, I hate clowns, and we all know that zombie carnies defy the very code their living counterparts hold sacred, making them even more deserving of re-disestablishment. I got some playtime with L4D2's The Parish campaign at E3, which was fun and all, but the nighttime missions have a way of inducing a deeper feeling of dread and foreboding in me.
Valve will reveal "...a few more of the 20-plus new items" that will be in L4D2, and you'll be able to play Dark Carnival in both Valve's and Microsoft's booth. Hopefully that cuts down on the long lines for what will be one of this year's most popular games. We'll be sure to get some video for you next week, so stay tuned. [joystiq]
