Even Guitar Hero and Rock Band Are Music Pirates According to Warner Music

How hard-up for cash is the music industry these days? If you've been alive and had access to a television for the last ten or so years, you've most likely "heard" the "buzz" about "piracy" and "falling album sales" and all those other "things," but honestly, this represents a new low in their finger-pointing fall from glory.
In the wake of the whopping success enjoyed by Guitar Hero and Rock Band and their various sequels and spin-offs, Warner Music chief executive Edgar Bronfman, in a statement made to Reuters, claims that these very legal video game franchises don't pay enough in royalties.
Yes, that's right, according to Mr. Bronfman, "The amount being paid to the music industry, even though their games are entirely dependent on the content we own and control, is far too small."
Wow, from the keyboard to God's ear. It looks like the Music Industry is abandoning its quest to reign in illegal copyright users, and is now trying to extort the remaining legal copyright users. Don't worry, he doesn't like P2P either. At least he's not a hypocrite, just crazy.
If this isn't further proof that the Music Industry is going the way of the American auto industry, then, uh, I'll be damned?
Probably.
