EA Comic Con 2009 News...So Far
With Comic-Con just a few days away, EA have been hitting the press release bottle hard, so far touting their Holiday 2009 lineup and a new comic book. The lineup includes games scheduled for shipment in 2010 as well, so who knows, maybe a few will hit shelves this year!
EA's 2009 holiday lineup includes a couple of "meh" games, but a few that I can't wait for, including Brutal Legend, Dragon Age: Origins, The Saboteur and Left 4 Dead 2. I've culled the press release for the most pertinent info, just for you.
EA Holiday 2009 Release Dates
* Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Available now for PC
* Battlefield 1943 - Available now for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC
* G.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra - August 2009
* Dead Space Extraction - September 29th in North America, October 2nd in the UK and Europe
* Brutal Legend - "Rocktober" 13th in North America, "Rocktober" 16th in the UK and Europe
* Dragon Age: Origins - October 20th in North America, October 23rd in the UK and Europe
* The Saboteur - Holiday 2009...I hope Pandemic/EA makes the deadline
* Left 4 Dead 2 - November 17th
* Army of Two: The 40th Day - 2010
* Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Q1 2010
* Dante's Inferno - 2010
Speaking of Dante's Inferno, EA and DC Comics will debut their new Dante's Inferno "comic book mini-series" based on the game at Comic-Con this week. The six-issue comic miniseries is illustrated by DiegoLatorre and written by Christos Gage, so it may end up being better than the game itself. ;D
