Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Comic On the Way

Not to be outdone by Mass Effect 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 might have a comic series on the way.

According to Official Xbox 360 Magazine, "The Wildstorm division of DC Comics has picked up the rights to publish a Modern Warfare 2 comic." It will be a six-part series known as Modern Warfare 2: Ghost, but there's no official release date. Will Modern Warfare 2: Ghost take place before, during, or after the events in Modern Warfare 2? Time will tell, but this is something I'll be picking up when the time comes, along with the night vision goggles in the Prestige Edition of MW2.

You may recognize the DC's Wildstorm division as being behind mega-game comic adaptations like Warcraft, StarCraft, Prototype, Mirror's Edge and Gears of War. [BIGdownload]
