Blizzard Releases StarCraft 2 Battle Report 3

All the concept art and info pages about StarCraft 2 units on Blizzard's site can't get me nearly as excited for the game as the Battle Reports that Blizzard has been slowly but regularly posting. It's so much better to see the new units and abilities in action. And the latest one, Battle Report 3, definitely gives us some good action. Check it out below.
The two biggest highlights of this Battle Report were the Nullifiers for the Protoss and the neural parasite ability for the Zerg. The Nullifiers have a force field they can lay down that blocks units, and we thought this would be a mostly defensive ability. But not only did David Kim use it defensively to cover retreats, he used it offensively to trap and corner enemies. Genius.
The neural parasite ability is pretty standard for strategy games; it just allows you to control an enemy unit for a while. However, Yeon-Ho Lee showed just how devastating it could be by overturning several losing battles with it.
This latest Battle Report, along with the first and second installments, does a lot to show us just how much the game has changed. It also shows how much effort is being put into balancing and gameplay tweaking. This should be one incredible game when it comes out. Unfortunately, that doesn't look to be happening any time soon. Looks like we'll have to be content with Battle Reports for now.
