Facebook Comes to PS3, Lets You Annoy Friends with Your Gaming Habit
by Dan Hope
Just as Xbox Live gamers are receiving the dashboard update allowing them to use Facebook on the Xbox 360, Sony has put together a teaser video showing the Facebook integration coming in the latest update to the PlayStation 3 firmware (version 3.10).
Don’t get too excited; this isn’t full integration. Basically the Facebook app will send status updates on PlayStation Network purchases, in-game achievements and Trophies when you sync your account to PlayStation servers.
Facebook and Twitter Available on Xbox Live Next Week
by Dan Hope
It has been a long time coming (since it was announced at E3 last June), but the big day is almost here. Xbox Live will be infused with all the social networking you can stomach when Facebook and Twitter integrate with the Xbox Live dashboard on Nov. 17.
The confirmation comes from Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten, which basically means he’s admitting that the release date originally leaked on the UK Xbox site was true.
Blizzard Announces StarCraft II Beta in 2010
by Dan Hope
We should have known this would happen. This is Blizzard Entertainment we’re talking about, after all. Blizzard has a habit of going over deadline on their games, by years sometimes. It would be unforgivable if the games didn’t end up being so good.

by Dan Hope
Tales of Monkey Island: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood continues the tradition of excellent adventure gaming and humor started by the ToMI series, even if it doesn’t improve over Episode 3 as much as the past episodes have improved on each other. The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood is just as good as Episode 3, but don’t worry, that still means it’s absolutely fantastic.
BioWare Explains the "Massively Single-Player" Elements of Dragon Age
by Dan Hope
BioWare caught our attention months ago when they said they were making Dragon Age: Origins into a massively-single player RPG. Obviously that sounds a little odd, alluding to a massive social experience for a staunchly single-player game. Fortunately, BioWare has given some details on how the whole MSOPRG thing will work.
BioWare is trying to shake up the RPG genre by making a single-player game a more social event. Apparently you don’t have to feel lonely just because you play alone.
