Tales of Monkey Island Episode 4 Review

Tales of Monkey Island: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood continues the tradition of excellent adventure gaming and humor started by the ToMI series, even if it doesn’t improve over Episode 3 as much as the past episodes have improved on each other. The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood is just as good as Episode 3, but don’t worry, that still means it’s absolutely fantastic.
BioWare Explains the "Massively Single-Player" Elements of Dragon Age

BioWare caught our attention months ago when they said they were making Dragon Age: Origins into a massively-single player RPG. Obviously that sounds a little odd, alluding to a massive social experience for a staunchly single-player game. Fortunately, BioWare has given some details on how the whole MSOPRG thing will work.
BioWare is trying to shake up the RPG genre by making a single-player game a more social event. Apparently you don’t have to feel lonely just because you play alone.
Fable 3 to Have Project Natal Compatibility and In-Game Microtransactions

Peter Molyneux’s Fable games have gained a lot of notoriety in the gaming industry not so much for their innovations as their creator’s grand statements about their innovation. Molyneux is a master at hyping his games, but it led to disappointment when it becomes obvious that the Fable games just aren’t as mind-blowing as he promised. That’s why some mildly surprising announcements from him about the upcoming Fable 3 really shouldn’t be that surprising at all.
Halo Waypoint Launches November 5, Brings Wealth of New Info and Achievements

If you care about the Halo games in any way then November 5 is going to be a big day for you. It’s the day that Microsoft sends Halo Waypoint live for all Xbox Live users. Halo Waypoint is designed to be the authoritative place for Halo fans right inside their Xbox 360 dashboards. Halo Waypoint will bring a boatload of new content to users on a regular basis, including new videos, machinima and Halo lore, and act as a place for players to track their achievements and see where they rank.
BioWare Announces Dragon Age DLC Will Be Available at Launch

Usually DLC (or downloadable content that’s not sold with the game) is released months after a game hits store shelves as a way to A.) increase the longevity of the game, and B.) get more money from gamers. That’s why we were so surprised by BioWare’s announcement that the DLC for Dragon Age: Origins would be available for free at the same time the official game launches.
